Development and Legal Affairs. Scott’s focus throughout his tenure was increasing profitability and operating efficiencies, ultimately co-leading a major investment from AKKR, ensuring LeagueApps mission was positioned for long-run success. Scott joined LeagueApps after serving as Global Finance Leader at Dataminr, a leading AI Event & Threat Detection Company focused on Physical and Cyber Security where he served as a Core Lead Team Member for the Series F capital raise.Prior to Dataminr, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer of the Investment Division and Global Technology at Hedge fund Bridgewater Associates during his 7+ year tenure at the firm. In earlier roles Scott served for 12+ years across multiple roles including VP of Strategy for the General Electric Company focused on Global Aviation and before that with General Atlantic LLC, a pioneer and leading global growth equity investor.Scott holds his BA from Roger Williams University as well as an MBA and Master of International Business from the University of Maryland. Scott also earned Executive Certificates from Columbia University Graduate School of Business as well as Tulane University Law School; Scott’s formal training is complimented with experience across security, risk analysis and technology provided through the Department of Homeland Security and other US Federal Agencies.
