It’s a people business — and food is simply the connector.For most of my career, I’ve worked inside the systems that move food — from suppliers and distributors to schools, restaurants, retailers, and the communities that rely on those systems every day.What I’ve learned is that behind every meal is an incredibly complex network of people, logistics, and decisions that ultimately affect cost, access, and affordability. And when those systems break down or become inefficient, families feel it.Food has always been one of the cornerstones of family life. But as shared meals become harder to maintain, we start to see the ripple effects — less time together, more stress, and weaker community ties.I believe there is a better way. At Foster, we’re working to build a leaner, more resilient supply chain — one that removes unnecessary complexity and helps bring food costs down. Because when food is more affordable and accessible, families can spend more time around the table, communities grow stronger, and people thrive.As a proud father with deep community roots, I care deeply about the systems that shape everyday life. This work isn’t just about food — it’s about the role it plays in keeping families and communities connected.My goal is simple: To contribute to the conversation around leadership, resilience, and the future of food systems.
