ABOUT SCOTT BEANGE

An accomplished Head of Data with over fifteen years’ experience in all areas of data management. This includes extensive experience over a number of full lifecycle complex end-to-end data management programmes in a senior capacity.I work with other data leaders on developing industry best practice for data management. Regularly collaborating in working groups to develop data capabilities and promote data excellence in the rapidly evolving data world. I\'m a member of the Global Data Leaders Forum. I have in-depth experience managing the strategic delivery of foundational data management capabilities, as well as supporting clients on the building the capabilities required on their journey to multiple different AI use cases. This also includes support for clients with the critical business adoption of these capabilities. I am a delivery focused, and motivated individual with exceptional stakeholder management skills. I provide strong written and verbal communication, along with a keen attention to detail. I pride myself on my ability to think strategically, solve challenges and consistently deliver, and to fit in and work within all levels of the business. Recent experience includes- Development of the appropriate data management framework and strategy to support clients ESG data reporting lifecycle- Implementation of the necessary cloud data management controls and capabilities to support clients on their journey to the cloud- Development of a business adoption framework to support business value, communications, awareness & culture, training and data democratisation for our clients to ensure the success of their data programmes- Responsibility for managing a combination of workstreams to improve data management across multiple organisations. This includes enhancing data strategy, data quality, data standards, data life cycles and solutions relating to data governance- Development of the strategy and approach for the implementation of the target operating model to support all data management pillars and data as a service for a global organisation- Leading the development and roll out of our Cyber Security solutions for our clients based on industry best practice/standards. Including development of IT Security strategies, frameworks and ICT risk assessments. Managed the Cyber Security workstream for a DORA regulatory programme for a global bank- Supported our clients in maturing their data capabilities to ensure compliance with regulations such as BCBS239, CSRD and DORA.
