Scott\'s career has been multifaceted in the IT realm over the past 19 years. Field Service Technician for Surveillance Security and Investigations firm. He has just recently completed a contract position that allowed him to dive back into the world of network administration. His career has led him down numerous paths in the IT field and he hasn\'t regretted one day. The knowledge gained over the years has given him a very broad and deep understanding of just how complex today\'s ever evolving IT world can be. Recent projects have included configuring/troubleshooting Cisco switches and Wireless networks, Rack and Cable Management best practices. The ability to configure, deploy and troubleshoot firewall/intrusion detection appliances. i.e. Fortinet/Fortigate appliances. He is a Data and Telecommunications Network Infrastructure Engineer with ten + years of proven experience. Has lead a project grossing over $4 million in new revenue in one year in wireline revenue. He is an Individual contributor that has worked in a team atmosphere within a high paced environment to design and implement networks across many types of transport mediums. For example, T-1,T-3, PRI, MPLS, Metro Ethernet, OCx fiber rings and many more. Scott has helped close several large deals over the last two years totaling over one million in new revenue. Scott is a subject matter expert and highly skilled in use of Microsoft Excel and Access for data mining, maintenance, and record keeping through complex spreadsheets. Scott has an extensive knowledge of the sales cycle from pre sales data gathering to post sales implementation. He has also coded proprietary software and is familiar with SQL, SAS,JCL, Visual Basic and Data Mining in DB2 platform, Not to mention Crystal reports and PeopleSoft.
