Tolanaro, MG

SEED Madagascar is a UK-registered NGO working to build community and environmental resilience in the southeastern Anosy region of Madagascar. As SEED\'s Community Resilience Officer, I lead pilot financial resilience initiatives, developing and implementing scalable solutions to enhance financial stability in rural communities in southeastern Madagascar. This position involves actively engaging with national staff, local communities, and external stakeholders to ensure participatory outcomes through data collection, analysis, and the development of monitoring tools. A key component of the role is evaluating the impact of these initiatives, producing research reports, and providing ongoing support to refine strategies and ensure the long-term sustainability of broader region-wide resilience efforts. I also collaborate and co-create across multiple departments, including Rural Livelihoods, Conservation, Community Health, and WASH/Education Infrastructure, to co-create solutions that are aligned with local needs.
