Every enterprise technology decision comes down to one question: how do you take powerful new technology and put it into production—at scale, under governance, and without disrupting what already works?That’s the problem I’ve spent 20+ years solving—across hardware, enterprise networking, IoT, and now AI.I started on the silicon, designing networking components for Dell Blade Servers. At Cisco, I spent nearly seven years as a Field CTO for some of the world’s largest automotive and manufacturing companies, acting as the technology lead for a $100M global portfolio. I led deployments like routers across GM, helped engineer platforms like OnStar. architected early telepresence, and built infrastructure that reshaped how plant floors connect to enterprise systems. I’ve since built and led global engineering and services organizations, owned full P&L, and scaled programs from zero to billion-dollar trajectories. Earlier in my career, I ran IT for a regulated insurance provider, managing multimillion-dollar budgets under strict compliance and audit requirements.As a founder and fractional CTO, I’ve built 30+ products across multiple industries—partnering directly with executives to turn vision into production-grade systems. My foundation in finance and strategy at Wharton continues to shape how I design for institutions where governance, audit-ability, and data control are non-negotiable.Across every domain, the pattern is consistent: organizations adopt powerful technology faster than they can govern it. The result is fragmentation, risk, and limited scalability.That’s exactly where we are with AI.As Founder & CTO of Langsmart (and CTO across two AI companies), I design and lead the development of infrastructure that makes AI usable inside regulated enterprises. Our platform, Smartflow, is an on-prem AI gateway and control plane that sits beneath existing systems—routing traffic across models, enforcing real-time policy, and reducing cost through semantic caching, all without re-platforming or vendor lock-in.We’ve demonstrated 10x performance gains and sub-300ms latency in enterprise environments, while setting new benchmarks for transparency in AI infrastructure.I’ve spent my career building the layer between enterprises and transformative technology—at global scale, under real constraints. AI is the most consequential shift yet and for enterprise, getting that layer right is everything.
