Scott Alcott is the Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Systems, a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise software for independent broadband internet service providers and utilities.A former Chief Information Officer at Comcast, Inc, Scott is a seasoned C-level executive and subject-matter expert in the platforms, processes, and operations that enable Communications Service Providers (CSPs), Broadband Service Providers (BSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver essential services at scale.He brings three decades of global leadership across cellular, broadband, telecom, cable, and IT managed services, with cross-functional experience spanning CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, CMO, and CSO roles. Recognized as a catalyst for technology adoption and industry transformation, Scott was an early mover in IPTV, VDSL/hybrid fiber, and other foundational innovations.Career Highlights • Proven leader across Fortune 50 corporations, publicly listed European and Canadian telecoms, and PE-backed growth companies, with cultural adaptability across diverse business models. • Managed multi-billion-dollar P & Ls and global teams of employees while also scaling entrepreneurial start-ups. • Co-led a $4B IPO, conducting hundreds of investor meetings and raising billions in capital. • Recognized as one of the “Most Influential Global CIOs”; holder of two U.S. technology patents. • Industry leader in OSS/BSS, ERP, CRM, and other mission-critical platforms for service providers.Prior to Comcast, Scott was an Executive Committee member at Belgacom (now Proximus), where he helped transform the former state monopoly into a publicly traded, modern quad-play innovator — achieving one of the highest ROEs in European telecom.His earlier career includes leadership roles at AT & T, Cellular One, and Ameritech, as well as serving as Chairman & CEO of Call One, CIO of the Telesat LEO Project, and CMO of WeServeHomes.com, a Kleiner Perkins-backed start-up.Scott currently serves on the Board of Directors of Magna5 (MSP) and has held multiple U.S, European, and multinational board roles as both member and Chair. He earned his BS in Economics from The Wharton School.
