I am a Small Business Owner and Nonprofit Team Supervisor with over 15 years of experience in banking, customer service, and nonprofit housing. I’m passionate about helping others and learning about people and the world—whether it’s by supporting their travel dreams or helping them find safe, stable housing.As the owner of Elk Spring Travel, I’m a certified travel advisor and cruise expert, specializing in theme parks and ocean getaways. I’ve completed training with Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Princess, MSC, Cunard, Carnival, and more. Elk Spring Travel is an LGBTQ- and veteran-owned business built on personalized, budget-conscious service for travelers from all walks of life.In my nonprofit work, I serve as a POD Lead for the RAFT program in Massachusetts, helping individuals and families in crisis access housing support. I manage a team focused on the most urgent and complex move-in cases, using tools like Salesforce to streamline operations and maximize impact. I\'m also currently studying cybersecurity and pursuing a second bachelor’s degree to continue expanding my skills and knowledge in the tech space.I grew up just outside Boston, MA and graduated from Malden High School. I earned my undergraduate degree in Public Affairs from Northeastern University, and later completed my MBA at Southern New Hampshire University. Education has always been a core part of my journey—and I continue to seek out learning opportunities that align with both my professional and personal passions.I’m also a proud military spouse, supporting my husband who is actively serving in the U.S. Army.I am truly mobile when it comes to location—I live on cruise ships about 75% of the time, and when I’m on land, I split my time between Boston, MA, Valley Forge, PA, and Naples, FL.

   Manage a team of 9 contractors working to assist clients with funding for stable housing due to impact by COVID-19 • Hold daily pod meetings to teach, advise and manage my team. Discussions include regulation changes and help with clients. • Ensure each Pod member is understanding the content and tasks required of their position, while also providing them with the information and tools necessary to complete their job • Accurately update daily reporting metrics using MS Excel and MS SharePoint. • Assist in Quality Assurance reviews of completed files • Lead the MOVES Team – Responsible for assigning and completing files for clients that are displaced and need expedited assistance. Point person / subject matter expert for the MOVES team. • Processed files for rental assistance. Communicate with clients via phone and email regarding applications. • Reviewed time off requests for my POD as well as weekly hour reporting.
