As a proud member of the Board of Directors for the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED), I am committed to advancing the mission of California\'s premier economic development association. CALED, with over 800 members, is one of the largest economic development networks in the country, dedicated to fostering economic growth, supporting business development, and creating quality jobs.In my role, I actively participate in all Board functions, including attending and contributing to Board meetings and CALED events. My responsibilities include:Helping to define and uphold CALED’s mission to teach economic developers, local elected officials, and state representatives the value of economic development.Setting policies and ensuring effective planning to guide CALED’s strategic direction and operational efficiency.Monitoring and strengthening CALED’s programs and services to maximize impact and benefit for our members.Ensuring adequate financial resources and providing proper financial oversight to protect the organization’s assets and support its activities.Enhancing CALED’s public standing by advocating for the organization and its initiatives.Through my involvement with CALED, I am dedicated to promoting economic development across California, supporting business growth, generating revenue for community programs, and retaining and creating quality jobs. It is an honor to contribute to such a vital organization and to work alongside fellow board members who share a passion for economic development and community betterment.
