About Scott Ackerman

My goal is to make an impact on my work teams, with my customers, and in my community. I have worked with many great customer teams across a variety of vertical markets to design and bring to market end products. I focus on account development and building rapport and relationships to win new designs and revenue business. Experience with FPGA and iA Internet of Things sales and design. Most recently, I drove Altera FPGA sales efforts in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania through direct coverage, managing our manufacturer\'s representative sales team, and partnering with channel distribution partners. I enjoy the diversity of my work activities across end customer verticals. Outside of work, I volunteer with Penn State University\'s College of Engineering and I have logged over 2,400+ volunteer hours with the Intel Involved Foundation.
