Scott Anderson is an entrepreneur, investor and advisor to early and seed stage companies, and has launched and been a part of numerous successful entities and initiatives; technology, real estate, and hospitality experiences.Consulting with startups to established companies on product, experience, creating market opportunities, and building teams.He creates strategic relationships and helping organizations establish and achieve game-changing ideas and goals and is particularly interested in projects that utilize technology for positive human outcomes, economic development, and the transformation of physical space through technology or information-based interventions.Has recently been Managing Director of Packet Labs, creating programs and alliances with industry and open source communities for next generation cloud infrastructure, through acquisition by Equinix. Prior to that, he served as Founder and President of Design and Technology at Intersection, as Alphabet’s first acquisition in the smart city space by Sidewalk Labs. Before that, Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, of Control Group, an award-winning, 150 person, technology and design company that helped organizations build transformational digital products and platforms.He also serves as General Partner and Investor at Supply Chain Ventures, an angel and early stage venture capital partnership.Scott Anderson co-founded a real estate development company, whose mission is to improve access to jobs, housing, education, and culture in the Hudson Valley, creating a destination that celebrates the connections between creativity, living, working, learning, and is a beacon for increased economic and cultural activity in the region.Scott is active in community and civic affairs in NYC and in Dutchess County, having served on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Lower Manhattan Association, and a Board Member of The Wassaic Project. He is a Founder of the UA Maker Academy in Manhattan, a CTE public high school focused on design and technology, and a founding Board Member of the Fund for Public Housing, investing in public housing communities with public-private partnerships.
