Learning and working with so many different knowledgeable professionals with varied skillsets has enabled me to use what I have learned to accel as a facility operator on a daily basis. The passion to incorporate the knowledge from my over 2 decades of facility related experience has given me the bandwidth needed to perform my daily duties operating facilities and managing projects in all aspects. You must take on each idea / project as a personal endeavor realizing that it is your job to make sure the team functions as one for one common goal to bring that idea to relevance. When managing a facility or a project it is imperative that all involved know whether they are company or contractor personnel that they work as a team delivering a functioning facility or a project that works as advertised. With my time in Naval Aviation Maintenance and my extensive knowledge in Environmental Systems and Facilities and Project Management has shaped me into the Facility Professional I am today. Because of this on May 2nd 2022 I was hired for the role of Director of Engineering for the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown. Subsequently received a promotion in December of 2023 to present as Dual Director of Engineering, which included an additional property The Westin also located in Downtown Milwaukee. During this time period my knowledge base has increased from the manufacturing side of facilities to include all the corresponding aspects of the daily operations of two full service 4-star hotel properties. This has made me a well-rounded facilities director able to lead in all aspects in pro-active facility operations. At the end of the day, we need to be able to verify adherence to all metrics and procedures to ensure we keep the asset functioning at the highest level as possible.

   The same responsibilities as Director of Engineering but with the addition of another property. Manage day to day facility operations for the Marriott & Westin with a staff of engineering technicians at each property. I was also added to Executive Committee in November of 2024. This is a group of leaders for all three properties in the Milwaukee Hotel Collection Marriott, Westin & SpringHill Suites. This allows high level discussion between all the properties beyond day to day operations to make sure we all share the same priorities and are focused on group goals that benefit all properties.
