About Scott Wetzel
Experienced Manager with 37+ years experience working in the petrochemicals and Oil & Gas industries. One of my passions is mentoring young professionals and helping the next generation by sharing knowledge, experience and perspective on how to be successful in work and life. I am experienced in Carbon Capture, Project Development, Plant Operations, HSE Management, Contractor Management, Chemical Engineering, and Construction Site Management. I graduated in 1988 from Pennsylvania State University back when we did hand calculations and used calculators. Currently I am working as part of the Oxy LCV team to develop Carbon Capture and Storage, and to inspire and develop new recruits into the industry to carry the torch and lift it higher.
