ABOUT SCOTT WESTHEAD

My professional journey commenced in the automotive industry back in 2015, when I began my career with Manheim Auctions as an apprentice. During this time, I pursued a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, successfully completing the program and earning my certification in 2016. Subsequently, I transitioned into the role of Vendor Support Coordinator within the organisation.Seeking further advancement and opportunities for growth within the industry, I moved to British Car Auctions in April 2018, assuming the position of Inventory Controller. Through dedication and commitment, I steadily progressed within the company, culminating in my promotion to Inventory Coordinator in August 2021.In my continual pursuit of professional development and broader industry experience, I embarked on a new chapter with Oak Tyres UK Ltd in July 2022. As the Fleet & Operations Coordinator, I was entrusted with the management and oversight of a substantial fleet comprising 160 vans, 10 cars, and 4 trucks within one of the UK\'s foremost independent tyre wholesalers.In April 2024, I made a significant return to the auction world by re-joining Manheim, this time assuming the pivotal role of Operations Manager. In this position, I drove operational efficiency, strengthened team performance, and supported the business in delivering high‑quality services across its auction operations.Most recently, in April 2026, I progressed into the role of Head of Operations at Manheim Inspection Services. This appointment represents a major milestone in my career, providing the opportunity to lead large‑scale operational strategies, elevate service delivery standards, and play a key role in shaping the future direction and success of the inspection services division.
