Part of Forties Alpha Core Crew that carries out planned maintenance and corrective maintenance, ensuring plant equipment runs smoothly, safely and all defects are noted onto the management system (SAP) and planned for repair accordingly. • Ensuring work that is carried out on the platform follows the relevant safety practises & procedures. • Maintain & investigate ESD systems & F&G systems on plant, ensuring they meet the required performing standards. • As an Isolating Authority, carry out many plant isolations to the correct standard. • Executing diagnostics, troubleshooting and evaluations on various instrumentation. • Liaising with engineering staff on special projects, assisting with configuration and installation of system equipment when required. • Studied and interpreted equipment manuals, circuit diagrams, blueprints and schematics, determining corrective actions for repairs, calibrations and installations. • Have experience with working on various Air compressors, Gas Compressors and Solar Gas Turbines. Various services carried out on plant equipment with instrument function checks, setting up of vibration probes (Bentley Nevada 3500) and testing of safety systems. • Carry out various levels of Ex inspections & SBT inspections on instrumentation. • Role model for safety within the platform; as a Platform Safety Representative for the Maintenance Constituency • Experience on various Apache assets, including 3 Forties platforms, Beryl Alpha & St Fergus Gas Terminal, showing my interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with my peers when necessary.
