   Associate Vice President/Senior Project Manager working in AECOM\'s CCR Management Program which was recognized by the Environmental Business Journal with an Industrial Leadership award in CCR Management. AECOM provides CCR services to more than 45 utilites. Personally at the leading edge of the implementation of the Groundwater Monitoring and Corrective Action portions of the federal CCR Rule servicing the largest coal-fired power generation utilities in the Southeast. Responsibilities include management and technical leadership of pre-closure environmental investigations, hydrogeologic characterizations, evaluation of quantity and characteristics of ponded ash, evaluation of groundwater discharge to surface water, karst feature inventories, dye trace studies, groundwater modeling, development of conceptual site models, recommendation of CCR Rule groundwater monitoring networks, certification of initial groundwater monitoring networks, baseline groundwater sampling, detection and assessment monitoring groundwater sampling, statistical analysis of monitoring data, development of Alternate Source Demonstrations, development of Annual Groundwater Monitoring and Corrective Action Reports, performance of laboratory treatability studies, evaluation of remedial options for Assessment of Corrective Measures and Remedy selection. Work closely with geotechnical engineers designing impoundment closures - closuse in place, closure by removal, and hybrid options incorporating beneficiation of ponded ash. Also providing litigation support to clients that have been sued under the citizen lawsuit provisions of the federal CCR Rule.Member of AECOM\'s national CCR Leadership and CCR Groundwater Compliance and Remediation teams.
