Over a thirty-year career I have raised more than $6 billion in institutional equity commitments for some of the most respected private equity and real estate platforms in the country including four consecutive fund raises at TA Realty ($4.5B, Funds VI-IX), Audax Mezzanine Fund ($1.0B), and Audax Private Equity Fund IV ($1.25B). My career began at A.G. Spanos Corporation one of the pioneering institutional multifamily developers in the United States where I marketed over $1 billion of Class A apartment communities to institutional buyers. That operating foundation, combined with nine years as a Partner at TA Realty overseeing both capital formation and multifamily acquisitions on a $15B+ AUM platform, defines how I think about real estate investment. Today I am the founder and principal of True Owl Capital a private equity real estate development platform focused on institutional-quality multifamily in high-growth Sun Belt markets.Outside of my professional work, my family and I have been longtime supporters of the National MS Society New England Chapter. Over many years we have raised over $1.5 million through events including the Champions Dinner, MS Invitational Golf Tournament, Fashion Plates Luncheon, and the MS Walk. It is work that matters deeply to us.
