ABOUT SCOTT TOPHAM

I am a very passionate IT professional and love and have always loved writing code and creatively solving complex logic problems since I was a little child. After being a developer for many years, I desired to be involved in the process at a higher level and moved into software architecture and then finally, more recently into a hybrid Portfolio Manager / Program Manager role for a small ART. I’ve discovered the same problem solving and deduction skills I used solving architecture and coding problems and in playing logic based games are great for applying systems thinking and improving the overall success of the business and their value streams. Business strategy with a focus on IT delivery is what I’m currently loving and deep diving into. No matter what my job title is, I am results driven and I always task myself with giving the highest ROI to any organization I work with. I perform my role with integrity, take pride in my work and am always accountable in what I do. I am a fast learner, quick on my feet in emergency situations, and have no problem taking on large challenges. I work well in a team environment and am happy to speak up and facilitate and offer advice in team meetings to help make them more efficient. I am great at dealing with ambiguity, seeing the big picture and using common sense to realize that perhaps processes or requirements are flawed, need to be altered or are not the best solution for the current problems at hand. I love solving problems at any level and coming up with the best solution possible. It truly \"blows my hair back\"​.
