About Scott Thach
As Vice President of Education, Scott Thach oversees the development and implementation of the Alliance\'s K-12 education and homeowner energy education programs. Scott joined the Alliance in 2011. He previously served as Vice President of Strategic Development, responsible for creating new initiatives, projects and programs that extend the reach of energy efficiency; and the Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement, coordinating the Alliance’s external corporate, philanthropic and individual relationships, as well as the development of new programs, initiatives and fundraising efforts that support the efficiency goals of the Alliance and its members. Before joining the Alliance, Scott worked in K12 education, children’s literature and television development. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Media Studies from Pomona College and a master’s degree in Education from Cal State Northridge.
