As Executive Director of Finance and Business Administration (EDFBA), I oversee all financial management and financial planning efforts for the School under the university’s responsibility center management budget model. Oversight of funding sources include educational and general (E&G funds), grant funding (local, state, and federal), restricted and unrestricted development funds, FACR funding (overhead recovery), and pool accounts. As the EDFBA, I manage an E&G annual budget of $29.8M (15.1M of which is allocated to academic operations), oversee $41M in grant funding, and $12.5M in development funding. The role is responsible for finance, HR, technology services, and building management functions for the School of Education.
