About Scott Stahl

I try to always maintain an intense focus on the quality and safety aspects of aviation to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience for those whom I share with, or introduce to aviation. It is also important to me to carry those characteristics outside of the industry, with an analytical and fact based reasoning structure. My specific aviation passions include aviation education, helping those who are interested in aviation gain exposure to it (even if they are of limited means), and sharing aviation through writing, story-telling, and discussion. I also see aviation as a mechanism to bridge boundaries, increase social understanding and awareness, and to support and promote the basic importance of S.T.E.M. concepts amongst younger students and children. It is with this safety focused outlook that I have always tried to drive enthusiasm and interest in aviation; while instilling an understanding of safety concepts and how they apply to real world operations. In order to maximize the potential of those students and their willingness to embrace new technology and new perspectives, I use analytical techniques and fact based reasoning to keep them abreast of the latest industry changes, but more importantly, as a vessel to drive innovation and improvement. As a fundamental concept, I use this focus on understanding and continuing improvement as the basis of my professionalism, as well as those I mentor in aviation.
