I lead the Solutions Engineering (SE) team for the Central area and provide vision and strategy around Cisco products as we go to market. I also help develop the architecture and technical vision, and I ensure staff alignment within the organization.A key part of my job is to build and maintain successful relationships with Cisco\'s partners and customers. As such, I focus on providing technical thought leadership to help Chief Technical Officers (CTOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), and other executives meet their organizations\' IT objectives.Building and managing a world-class leadership team is also an important aspect of my role. I focus on building the right culture and setting the tone to help my leadership team be successful in attracting and retaining top diverse talent. I enjoy being able to lead and coach my team to continuously improve Cisco products, solutions and services. One of the best parts of my job is when I get to watch my team in action as they provide world-class thought leadership and support to our partners and customers.I\'ve worked my way up through the SE ranks supporting large corporate, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing customers — which means I have the benefit of experience at every level in SE, SE management (SEM), and Senior SE leader. It\'s truly rewarding to share my experience, best practices, and lessons learned with my team.
