   Owns the AWS resource tagging platform — a mission-critical service that organizes infrastructure, simplifies access controls, enhances cost reporting, and enriches observability for millions of customers and tens of billions of resources. Leads an organization of 40+ engineers.* Drove adoption of tag-based access controls from 10% to 98% of AWS traffic by collaborating with owners of S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis, IAM, and others — improving security and making enterprise policy enforcement feasible at scale.* Delivered a cellular, failure-isolated architecture that scaled the tagging service 50x, reduced customer impact during incidents, and held infrastructure cost growth flat — improving overall system reliability and cost efficiency.* Defined the strategic vision for tagging and related cloud operations products in collaboration with customers and product leadership; prioritized roadmap to maximize security and availability, while delivering innovative customer features.* Partnered with AI and automated reasoning teams to deliver projects that reduce the cost of implementing tagging while improving security and correctness.* Championed operational excellence initiatives (traditional and AI-driven), increasing availability from 99.95% to 99.99% while reducing on-call operational burden.* Launched new tag governance features to give customers the tools to ensure all of their resources are tagged in compliance with their enterprise standards.* Built automated, closed-loop mechanisms to enforce tagging correctness for every new AWS service launch, improving the security of 200+ launches per year.
