Reporting to the CEO, Shiller is responsible for achieving the Peace Center\'s artistic goals, overseeing the programmatic, revenue, education, operational, and administrative functions, including a full-time staff of 35 and a part-time staff of over 150. The Peace Center presents over 600 events annually, including touring Broadway, Off-Broadway plays and musicals, comedy, cabaret and concerts, with an average attendance of guests each year. Shiller is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies designed to achieve artistic and financial goals for the $35 million dollar organization.• Oversees daily operations of four performance venues ranging in size from 400 seats to 2,100 on the Peace Center\'s six-acre campus, as well as public spaces, a restaurant, two ballrooms, and offices.• Serves as point person for Resident Companies and non-profit performance rentals, rates, contracts, policies, and procedures.• Currently, serving as the ‘owner’s representative’ directing the design and construction of four new performance venues that are scheduled to open in the Fall of 2025, including a new 200-seat cabaret, a immersive theater space, a 100-seat Arts Education studio and the renovation of an open-air event space that will feature 3D video mapping installations. Overseeing the installation of new state-of-the-art sound and lighting in existing venues.• Overseeing the vision and business plan for programming, arts education, and operations, Shiller’s first season at the Peace Center resulted in a $5M budget surplus. This was achieved by balancing a mix of artistic and commercial performance offerings while at the same time, improving cost savings across multiple departments.
