Developed and implemented a strategic plan and long-range vision to grow CMHA’s real estate portfolio, course-correcting the agency to position for strong, scalable, and sustainable growth, efficiency, and community impact. Steered $257M in capital projects, fueling the acquisition, redevelopment, and onboarding of 1,300+ units of affordable and mixed-income housing, impacting more than 3,100 residents in Columbus and Franklin County. Greatly diversified housing and program portfolio to include market rate, workforce, LIHTC, public housing, RAD PBV, and PBV units, holding accountability for design, construction, and real estate acquisition activities for the Housing Authority. Recruited, onboarded, trained, and continue to coach top talent pivotal to achieving aggressive growth and performance objectives, challenging the status quo, engaging in calculated risks, and forging a pathway in real estate development. Identified, shaped, and engaged in new partnerships with affordable housing providers to extend community outreach, and offer more family housing, permanent supportive housing, and housing for vulnerable populations in Central Ohio.
