This position is responsible for consultation pertaining to HR practices and policies for assigned client groups or specific discipline. The responsibilities could include consultation on the portfolio of HR programs and initiatives or acting as a subject matter expert for an HR discipline with the intent to ensure maximum effectiveness of the Human Resources function.• Administer all applicable Human Resource policies and procedures affecting employees • May function as a team leader or group participant on special Human Resource projects • Interface with groups inside and outside the organization (other Human Resource departments, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), projects, vendors) • Communicate and work collaboratively within the context of a globally diverse environment• Maintain a close working relationship with discipline management to ensure that services are properly executed and the needs of the company are met• Establish relationships with direct manager and colleagues as a discipline expert• Coordinate with direct manager to provide solutions for discipline specific issues related to overall company initiatives• Work with managers to direct specific initiatives for communication, training and metrics related to discipline Provide statistical data and reports to management to support analysis• Interact with and support department managers and HR employees• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines• Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
