Scott is a senior intelligence and analytics leader, manager and analyst with well over 20 years’ experience in leading teams of up to 100 intelligence, analytics and security specialists in diverse and challenging contexts. Throughout his career he has delivered objective, timely and focussed assessment on a wide range of topics to exacting customers ranging from military commanders in Afghanistan to Magic Circle litigators in London. Scott now specialises in financial crime intelligence, and is passionate about combining the subject matter expertise of classic intelligence analysis with advanced data analytics and technology to generate deeper insight into the activities of money launderers, terrorism financiers, fraudsters, sanctions evaders and other abusers of the financial system. Scott has an extensive academic background in International Security, including Cambridge University research into countering extremist radicalisation.
