Scott provides risk management and insurance program design to companies of all sizes. From start up ventures to Fortune 500 companies, he works with companies to develop strategic solutions to meet their Risk and Insurance needs, both domestically and internationally. Scott has more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, beginning on the carrier side as a Casualty underwriter with Canadian Indemnity. Scott then spent two years as a broker at Lloyd’s of London before returning to the States. He then spent 20 years at a large national brokerage firm, where he led National Center of Excellence for the Transportation Practice. In 2006 he established the Portland office of McGriff, Seibels & Williams in Portland, OR and grown the office to nearly 40 people service diverse industries including transportation, telecommunications, public entity, energy, manufacturing and many more.Scott has worked extensively with large clients meeting their financial needs through a variety of vehicles including Self Insurance, Captives, funding alternatives, ERM and other innovative solutions. His focus is creativity and client service.
