About Scott Renk
I teach art and animation to At-Risk students in an alternative setting. Through this job, I have learned that art can change the course of the most downtrodden individual in a more positive and meaningful way. I also teach Urban Sketching to Architects and Art Educators from across the nation and the world. I am also an artist and animator who has had the good fortune of having my films screen at film festivals nationwide, even winning best film. I am self-taught in the world of animation, preferring to create hand drawn and stop-motion animation. I love using my audio and musical background to create sound and music for the animation. I have currently just received my Masters in Science in Curriculum and Instruction, and hope to develop and use this degree for future employment and programs. I have goals of creating much more art and animation, and of creating more programs to reach At-Risk individuals and help them achieve their true potential.
