ABOUT SCOTT REED MICKELSEN
I have over 25 years of experience as a leader and educator in higher education, and I am passionate about empowering organizations with strategic planning, professional development, human resource management, action plans, communications, public speaking, and executive advising. These are the services that I provide through my company, New Heights Consulting, to educational institutions and other clients who seek to enrich others and serve their communities. Previously, I was the president and vice president of academic affairs at Dawson Community College, where I developed and implemented innovative and sustainable programs, curricula, and partnerships that attracted and retained students and faculty. I also managed accreditation, budgeting, and networking with area businesses. I believe in making decisions with the student in mind and creating a culture of caring and excellence. My goal is to help organizations achieve their vision and mission with integrity and collaboration.
