ABOUT SCOTT POSKA

I started my career in traffic and transportation engineering in 2004. I currently work with City, County, and State agencies and lead traffic engineering design and operations related projects. I have extensive experience with traffic signal design, traffic signal operations, traffic signal operations analysis, traffic signal warrants and justification, signing and pavement marking design, and temporary traffic control and detour layouts. I also have experience in the simulation of multimodal traffic flows that include automobiles, trucks, buses, light rail transit, bicyclists, and pedestrians, using VISSIM. I have participated in several PTV user group meetings, which bring together some of the nation’s leading staff modeling professionals.I have served as President of the Great Lake District and North Central Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers. In addition, I am a consultant member on the Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
