I have spent an extensive career in the Aerospace and Defense Sector. I have proven working knowledge of the DoD and Congressional budgeting process plus actual hands-on experience with each military service including their operational, requirements, acquisition and technical communities. This includes multiple program wins and new market entries. I have acquired a wide array of skills relating to direct military customer technical selling, market assessments, strategic planning, operational efficiency, international sales, legislative affairs, and personnel management of diverse employees. I consistently received rankings in the top quartile and higher at the company level from employee assessments. Given my in-depth experience with forty years in the defense industry, I have maintained a comprehensive and substantial understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the global market including not only market successes, but to also realize when market pursuits and developments are not turning out as predicted and avoid further investment. I originally retired as the Vice President for Customer and Government Relations at NORTHROP GRUMMAN. In this role I was responsible for customer interface with the U.S Government Executive and Legislative branches plus each of the Services, COCOMs, DHS and our International customer base In SE Asia, N. Asia, Australia, S. America, the U.K. & W. Europe, Israel, the Middle East & N. Africa. Knowledge base includes requirements generation, acquisition policy and the program, planning and budgeting process as well as federal and state congressional processes. For international this also includes understanding of allies planning processes, trade policy and export rules. Managed a worldwide network of customer facing field offices and consultants.After trying a period of consulting and teaching, I am now back full-time in the Aerospace & Defense Sector working for the U.S. Proxy of Thales
