Project Manager @Network Rail

In my current role as Project Manager working for Network Rail. I manage and deliver a range of Civil Engineering projects through a number of different tendering procedures. My work takes me across England, Scotland and Wales with the majority of my time spent in South West of England. As Project Manager I am solely responsible for the life cycle management of projects primarily from concept to implementation and finally hand back. Throughout my Network Rail career I have been fortunate to be involved in the delivery of a diverse range of projects including many prestigious projects. My responsibilities have included: managing all phases of the project life cycle inline with Network Rail process from the feasibility stage through design to risk identification and mitigation and then project delivery. Throughout these phases I am responsible for managing a number of contractors and liaising with all key stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered to cost, quality and programme, making sure safety is always of utmost importance. To deliver projects successfully I am responsible for managing a team including: engineers, commercial staff, planners, scheme project managers, site managers and a number of supporting staff. I am not afraid to seek advice and am prepared to listen to others to continue my own development.
