As a career IT Audit Leader, Scott specialized in auditing certification authorities, trust anchors on the Internet, leading to an expertise in establishing rules and audit practices to a wide range of cryptography use cases. He is the Conformance Program Administrator for the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity where he accepts and assesses applications from Content Generation and Validation Product companies and Certification Authorities and holds them accountable for the Program requirements.He is the Co-Chair of the Creator Assertions Working Group which creates standards for identity and metadata to be used to make attributions on digital objects in conjunction with the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA).
