ABOUT SCOTT PENHALLURIACK

I’ve always believed business is about more than just numbers and deliverables—it’s about people, purpose, and the power of great partnerships.With a background that spans solution consulting, account & relationship management, and strategic partnerships, I’m at my best when I’m connecting dots others haven’t even seen yet. I don’t just think outside the box—I tend to gently (but firmly) set the box on fire and build something better.Take the time I spotted a security vulnerability while reviewing a client’s ageing tech fleet. That insight led to a nationwide investigation across Spark’s Enterprise and Government customers. I rallied a cross-functional crew, built a campaign from the ground up, and we uncovered 260 opportunities and delivered $5 million in previously unaccounted-for revenue—all in a single quarter. Whether I’m co-creating products like Spark’s Modern Mobility, designing tech refresh strategies with vendors like Apple and Samsung, or unblocking complexity with a coffee in hand, I lead with empathy, creativity, and an eye for impact. Relationship management isn’t a buzzword for me—it’s about earning trust, keeping it, and showing up consistently to help people and businesses grow.But one of my proudest roles? Leading Spark’s DE & I efforts as a national Allyship advocate. ‍From partnering with Auckland University students to build a relationship with Far Out Productions. Walking alongside Moana Vā to increase rainbow Pasifika representation in tech, and the creation of Allyship @ Spark. I’ve seen firsthand how inclusive thinking transforms not just culture—but results. And that, to me, is what leadership looks like.Outside of work, you’ll find me hiking somewhere remote, driving a project BMW through the Canterbury hills, or sharing big ideas over an almond cappuccino. I’m curious, quietly bold, and forever in pursuit of what could be possible—especially when we create it together.
