As Deputy Director to the Army National Guard MTC-LVN, a field-operating agency for the National Guard Bureau, I serve as advisor and consultant to the Commander on policy matters relative to the various complex and intricate phases of logistics support and specific aspects of the organization, including:• Provide administrative, and managerial direction, guidance to the senior staff involving large, diverse, and complex functions resulting in a requirement for significant coordination. • Resolve complex and highly visible problems, and provide technical judgment in areas of personnel, finance, operations, and logistics to assist the Commander in fulfilling mission requirements. • Keep abreast of new policies, procedures, regulations, directives, etc; develop and recommend the framework for policies, programs and systems designed to increase efficiency and economy of command functions and operations.• Budget Program Manager; conduct planning, analysis, justification, execution, and review of the multi-year budget for the Complex.• Facility Manager of the 22 building/55-acre complex, responsible for service and construction contracts, work orders, maintenance and modernization of MTC-Leavenworth\'s operational mission. • GSA Fleet Manager responsible for acquisition, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement of the organizations fleet vehicles.
