   I work Onsite as the Traffic Manager in the MP & L department. I Generate shipping documents, requisition, and route trucks for New Model / Prototype programs as defined by current Ford Motor Company order placement procedures. Requisition and route trucks for Ford Service thru Schneider Logistics as defined by current Ford Motor Company order placement procedures. Generate shipping documents, requisition, and route trucks for all \"expedited loads\" as required. Requisition and route trucks for all shipments to Mexico as defined by current Ford Motor Company order placement procedures. Generate shipping documents, requisition, and route trucks for all tooling and equipment shipments as defined by current Ford Motor Company order placement procedures. Maintain an ongoing DSP Traffic Problem Log / Tracking rail car availability and transit issues. All bad ordered rail cars, causes and resulting delays. All incorrectly billed rail cars. Investigate and resolve all rail car scheduling and availability issues. Monitor all incoming boxcars for “Bad Orders” and any misdirected shipments. Utilize Ford TRRIPS Railcar Tracking System (TRRIPS) and CMMS/NextGen to track all inbound rail cars without rack return ASNs. Maintain a record on an Excel Spreadsheet. Direct and route rail cars in DSP Yard to support container requirements for jobs currently running that day as well as future requirements. Update all estimated arrival times for rail cars outbound to the Assembly Plants utilizing TRRIPS and railroad specific web sites. Maintain and update the DSP SCAC code database on CMMS/NextGen Monitor scrap gondola availability; resolve any issues concerning steel scrap recycling and transportation. Monitor the Canadian National / DSP rail car PM program.Monitor, track, and report all special movement (blocked) rail cars to Divisional Carrier Operations. Name changes with in the 8yrs.(Pacer buy out to XPO and now GXO).
