Work with Arcadis company leaders, employees, and outside counsel across North America to handle legal matters for all areas of business operations. Prepare, review, and negotiate agreements (upward and downward facing) of all types, including teaming agreements, design contracts, construction contracts, and joint venture agreements. Participate in “go/no-go” calls by evaluating legal risk posed by potential business opportunities. Mitigate risk by preventing, managing, and resolving disputes and lawsuits. Complemented by insurance broker for maintaining best-in-class claims management program, thereby keeping insurance rates low. Attend mediations regularly on behalf of the company. Advise on all areas of U.S. federal contracting law, including bid protests, disputes, and contract compliance. Member of the Arcadis North America Integrity Committee since 2015. Responsible for internal investigations and reporting to company leaders. Provide contract and ethics training to employees throughout North America.
