Chattanooga, TN, US

As Chief of Staff at CARTA, Chattanooga’s regional transit authority, I partner directly with the CEO to drive strategy, connect people and ideas across the organization, and ensure CARTA delivers on its mission of connecting communities and empowering lives.I bring together a career of experience in communications, government relations, transportation, and nonprofit leadership to help CARTA navigate complex challenges and seize opportunities for innovation. In practice, that means serving as strategist, integrator, and trusted advisor—whether aligning internal teams around long-term goals, building relationships with government and community stakeholders, or advancing key projects that move Chattanooga forward.Known as an “air traffic controller” for the executive office, I help streamline decision-making, anticipate issues before they surface, and create clarity in fast-moving environments. I’m at my best when I’m bridging silos, supporting leaders in making bold, informed choices, and ensuring that the vision at the top connects with action on the ground.I thrive in mission-driven organizations and believe that public transit is about more than mobility—it’s about economic growth, equity, and opportunity.
