About Scott Natter

I started at James Martin Associates (JMA) as an intern in 2006 during my senior year at Brigham Young University (BYU). After earning my Bachelor\'s of Science in Landscape Management, I accepted a full-time position at JMA and moved to Chicago. As a management trainee, I had the opportunity to work in every department in the company. I began as a crew member with our Commercial Maintenance and Design Build team for a season before I moved to the Design Build team working on proposals, sales, and project management. I also occupied the position as the Fleet, Facilities, and Yard Manager, and as an Account Manager for our Commercial Maintenance team where I was able to gain experience on the snow removal side of our business, which led to my position as the Snow Operations Manager. In 2013 I was given the opportunity to move to Boulder to lead our Colorado branch as the General Manager of L.I.D. Landscapes. Being originally from the West Coast, I was excited to take the position and utilize the skills I had acquired during my time at JMA. One of the Guiding Principles at JMA is to “Grow Exceptional Talent”. As someone who graduated as an intern and was able to move up to the position of General Manager, I think I exemplify JMA\'s commitment to this idea. JMA is invested in the success of its employees, and provides every team member with opportunities and tools to learn and grow within the company.Outside of work, I enjoy camping with my family, rock climbing, and white water rafting. As an Eagle Scout, I remain an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America.
