OptiFuel is decarbonizing rail, marine, and power production Assets with innovative, cost-efficient, and sustainable solutions utilizing advance gaseous fuels and Cummins hybrid power products. Optifuel is the only US company that has final FRA approvals and EPA certifications for gaseous locomotives in service in the US. OptiFuel is the system integrator for the Indiana Harbor Belt CNG/RNG locomotives in service in Chicago. OptiFuel provide the complete solution, including developing and EPA certifying the dual fuel engines, the FRA approved locomotive onboard CNG/RNG psi storage system, and the only CNG/RNG refueling station designed for refueling freight locomotives. In September of 2019, OptiFuel achieved EPA certification for the only ZERO emission rail engine in the US based on the Cummins ISX12N natural gas / renewable natural gas engine. In 2020, OptiFuel will be introducing ZERO emissions solutions (NOx, PM, CO2) in the marine and microgrid markets to replace diesel with clean natural gas and renewable natural gas.
