Head of Bim - Infrastructure @Skanska

I am responsible for leading a team of highly performing digital specialists, supporting and delivering live projects in line with our customer’s requirements, as well as driving strategic development, ensuring the adoption and Implementation of the Skanska Infrastructure Digital Strategy in line with the key business objectives. The key aim is to improve operating efficiency and margin, whist still delivering safe industry leading innovative solutions and assets for our customers. Core responsibilities: • Reporting project performance and digital delivery adoption on all projects back to Technical Director • Advise LT on technological advances, the potential benefits to Skanska and our customers • Supporting the implementation and delivery of the OU project controls in cooperation with Head of Project Controls • Support development and implementation of BIM policy and standard methods & procedures that fulfil the business needs • Overall responsibility for digital integration and development at a framework/project level. Focal point for Information Management in OU • Support the business with work winning and tendering processes where required and be involved with development of future opportunities • Driving customer & stakeholder engagement and develop relationships with existing key customers. Liaise with the customer’s BIM team, designers, supply chain and contractors to ensure good relations • Driving data capture and utilising business analytics to manage and monitor performance and drive decision making • Providing relevant development, education, and professional upskilling to deploy Skanska\'s Infrastructure Digital Strategy • Ensure that BIM roles and career paths & professional upskilling are aligned with company needs, and drive recruitment of skilled individuals • Guiding and developing the BIM teams in terms of skills & competencies as well as encouraging behaviours / cultures supporting collaboration and knowledge sharing
