About Scott Michael Dunn
With over three decades of experience in all phases of affordable housing, I enjoy both training others and designing systems to ensure regulatory compliance. I have overseen teams that monitored compliance with HUD, RD, tax credit and HOME rules for federal, state and private owner entities. I have a particular passion for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit and I have enjoyed working directly with over half of the state tax credit housing finance agencies to provide consulting, compliance monitoring or training services. After 11 years growing the consulting firm Zeffert & Associates in St. Louis, I returned to my roots in the upper Midwest and assisted in running my previous employer, Costello Property Management (CPM) as their Director of Policy. In 2017 I was privileged to join the ownership team of the company I helped get off the ground 16 years prior, Costello Compliance. While continuing my responsibilities with CPM, I look forward, as CEO of Costello Compliance, to growing our offerings of unique and quality compliance services to the industry. These include live and webinar training sessions, online on-demand training as well as file review products.
