ABOUT SCOTT MCTAVISH

I joined Purdys Chocolatier in April 2020—a time when the world was changing by the minute. Retail was shifting, digital was accelerating, and businesses everywhere were adapting on the fly. Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of helping Purdys navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, expanding our fundraising programs, embracing new technologies, and shaping the executive leadership team into what it is today. Now, as Managing Director of Purdys, I have the honour of overseeing ownership for this incredible company and its operations into the future. What I love most about Purdys is the culture of celebration and gifting that crosses communities and generations across Canada. And, let’s be real—we also make the best confections in the country. I’ve always been a foodie, and I firmly believe in never skipping dessert. Outside of work, I’m a passionate rugby player, skier, and avid reader—always looking for my next great book (or next great run down the mountain).
