About Scott Marvel
With three older sisters, I learned the fine art of diplomacy early on; I learned that arguments are less about winning than they are about understanding, that listening isn’t just about being quiet, that common courtesy and chivalry are always appropriate, that there is no more powerful force than a united and collaborative team. These early lessons have helped me immensely as I’ve navigated through my always-interesting, never-a-dull-moment career. My philosophy is to use what you have – resources, talents, relationships – to change what’s unpleasant, correct what’s unfair, help those who are struggling around you. I do this in my personal life, and we also espouse this wholeheartedly at Daily Planet Productions.If I ever find myself too entrenched in a project, leave it to my glorious family to bring me back to earth. My wife is an ultrarunner, and I\'m always thankful that she decides to turn around halfway through the race and head toward home. My daughter is 18 years old and loves art. Last winter, we spent several cold nights handing out \"blessing bags\" to the homeless.
