About Scott Manchester

Scott Manchester (BS, MS, RVT) is registered vascular technologist, with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). He has completed his Associate and Bachelor’s degree in Science from the University of Massachusetts, a Master’s degree in Science and Leadership with a concentration of Health Management from the Northeastern University and received specialized training at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge and at Boston University. Scott has published recently and serves on various committees and boards inside and out of his organization.

1. Vascular Ultrasound Supervisor of the Vascular Ultrasound Laboratory at the Elliot

   In association with the Medical Director and Administrative Director, the Vascular Ultrasound Supervisor is responsible for the technical, administrative, and organizational aspects of the Vascular Laboratory. These include, but are not limited to administrative duties, acquisition and/or maintenance of laboratory IAC accreditation, teaching, orientation and staffing, performance of vascular laboratory tests, training, personnel hiring, disciplinary actions and the overall day-to-day operations of the Laboratory. Thorough knowledge of current IAC standards, and work with the Medical Director and Laboratory staff to ensure a quality-based, customer-oriented flow of work. Requires discretion and judgment to organize priorities, complete tasks, and handle confidential information.
