About Scott Maiers
I am a Senior Nurse Navigator,RN with a background as Travel RN in CVICU/ICU and Hospice since 2007. I graduated nursing school in 2003 and went to work at WVUH Ruby Hospital in Morgantown, WV in the CTU/CCU. In 2007 I started my traveling career and have worked at big university hospitals/trauma centers to community hospitals and critical access centers. In April of 2020 I went to Elmhurst Hospital for COVID-19 response. I did a year of hospice in 2015 and came back to Hospice in October of 2022. I have done RNCM, admissions and On-call positions. I have had a variety of experience through my now 20+ year career. I have been a Charge Nurse, a preceptor and a trainer for devices like IABP, Impella, and CRRT. I enjoy traveling and seeing new places, although the beach is home to me.
