Involved in data management project work for a UK wide client base. ·Tasks undertaken depended on client needs and project requirements but covered both technical and functional skills. Examples of this are project management, stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering/documentation, all aspects of data management (Data transformation, ETL, data provision, data engineering, analytics, MI/Report Provision).·Primary technology used is SAS Base/EG and SQL, however have had exposure to many technologies including Teradata, Tableau, Hadoop and AWS. ·Various project methodologies used, including traditional waterfall and Agile frameworks.·Developed and provided leads and commercial opportunities for Account managers. ·Projects undertaken are varied however always related to data workstreams within wider projects. Examples of projects I have been involved in:·Report Migration for large UK retail bank (Project Lead). Worked with the Fraud Analytics team to migrate existing reports from on premises SAS based platform to cloud based AWS platform. As project lead, I was the key contact between client, BDP team on the ground (5 consultants), on premises fraud teams and wider project team. ·Demand Forecasting for a large online retail company (Data Engineer). Worked within the Data Science team, who were responsible for embedding a new forecasting process within the business. ·Data Warehouse Migration for a large UK retail bank (Business Analyst). Gathered data requirements for multiple teams for a newly created Hadoop based data warehouse.·Specialist Lending Product launch for a large UK bank (MI Workstream Lead). Responsible for the Data and MI reporting stream ensuring all regulatory, financial, operational, commercial and risk reporting was in place prior to launch.
