Public administrator with a proven record of leadership in local government, following a distinguished 23+ year career in the United States Air Force. Since retiring from active duty in 2009, I have served in progressively senior roles at both the county and municipal levels.County roles have included Executive Director of Elections & Voter Registration, Director of Parks and Recreation, and Human Resources Director. In municipal government, I’ve held positions as Deputy Town Manager, Interim Town Manager, and currently, City Manager.During my military service, I held a diverse range of leadership positions, including Nuclear Weapons Specialist, Alcohol and Drug Control NCO, Personnel & Manpower Officer, Squadron Section Commander, Military Training Commander, White House Support Mission Director, Director of Military Personnel for a DoD Joint Service Agency, and Military Advisor to the Iraqi Air Force.My military honors include the Bronze Star (Operation IRAQI FREEDOM), Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (USAF), five Air Force Commendation Medals, three Air Force Achievement Medals, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Iraq Campaign Medal, among others.
