Experienced CMBS, Equity and Bank workout professional specializing in complex workouts, restructures, and litigation, closing, asset management and contract finance services.Scott Leitman has been a Principal with BLT Green Hollow since its inception and is responsible for all aspects of contract finance, including asset disposition, financing, and litigation strategy. From March 2016 to May 2019, Mr. Leitman was a Managing Director at BLT. Prior to BLT, Mr. Leitman was with FMCP since its inception in 2003, where he focused on all aspects of contract finance, including acquisition and disposition of assets, lending and financing, litigation strategy, and special servicing. From 2001 to 2002, he served as Vice President in the Real Estate Department at Salomon Smith Barney Inc, where, among other responsibilities, he was an active member of the Credit Committee, determining policies and procedures for the commercial mortgage loan conduit and actively monitoring portfolio credit exposures. Beginning in 1991, he acted as First Vice President at PaineWebber and Kidder, Peabody for more than nine years in aggregate, where he developed, built and managed an extensive mortgage loan closing operation, and coordinated and managed the purchase and disposition of numerous mortgage loans and collateral assets. For the preceding six years, Mr. Leitman acted as an Underwriting Manager and Acquisitions Manager for several depository institutions. Mr. Leitman holds a BA from State University of New York at New Paltz and has conducted post-graduate studies in real estate at New York University and law at Adelphi University.
